FOX News service statement

UW-Madison in the process of deploying several upgrades to DATN services. A number of free-to-air and licensed international channels have been added to the DATN lineup, and Charter will be directly providing digital feeds of various local and cable channels. Part of the upgrade means that some of these cable channels will be delivered in a new way. These upgrades will bring higher quality, greater selection, and HD channels to DATN.

In the past, DATN channels were encoded from an analog signal. During this time, we were able to deliver FOX News as a test. However, FOX News isn't among the channels that are part of the longstanding agreement between UW-Madison and Charter that supports channel delivery on DATN. This agreement was created before FOX News existed. UW-Madison is working with Charter to add additional channels, including FOX News.
